More than once I was asked if I was/am Irish this afternoon. Where was I? A special corner of the earth named 109th and Western. Holy shit is that far SOUTH side. My friend's roommate drove us down; but as we had to pick up her friend on the "way", shit took 2+ hours to get there! Fuck. And we had to trespass through a graveyard (it's always something).

We got to this place and paid $20 to drink as fast as we could. And we did. And then some. And then after the parade concluded, the Cops wearing kilts busted out a bag-pipe session for us. Oh, and the weather was gorgeous.

So I don't know WHAT you were celebrating there....
I was there and it was a hot mess. I was glad to be able to escape into a business and use a private bathroom when needed. Not to mention that I didn't have to deal with bars and lines. Good times.
St. Patricks Day is always a good time. Chicago has the Green River but NYC has a better Parade.
Chicago does have a lot of hot guys from what I remember.
