GO WEST, YOUNG MAN

How things do change.

My general state of mind was flying high for some time.

Then, not so much.

This might sound dramatic, but this current Winter season is easily the worst I have ever experienced in all my years.

Therefore, I have decided to fly to Denver next week; and as a confirmed airplane dork, I'm happy to say I choose a flight on no less a bird than a mighty Boeing 777.

This is akin to driving a Ford F-350 around the block for a gallon of milk.

Fuck if I care.

Outside of aircraft selections, I am looking forward to hanging with a dear, old friend and snapping out of my general sense of malaise.

I need a break from my life...and feel the awesomeness that is L-I-F-E once again.

Plus, 2 consecutive four-day work weeks sounds nice...

Believe me, the type of aircraft selection is one of the most important parts of the trip!

But what happened to sunny L.A?

I'm not big on flying, but I have to say taking a 777 from Chicago to Seattle a couple a years ago, was one of the most enjoyable flights I've ever been on.

Despite seeing a dear friend, I'd say Denver might be step down on the winter front. I hope it ends up sunny at least!

Alright, were you smoking something when you decided that going to Denver would be a break from Winter. You do know where Denver is right??

I had a friend from Denver who said they actually have really mild winters--people just think they're bad because they're in Colorado.

I drove from Chicago to Denver last week. On Tuesday it was almost 70. And BEAUTIFUL. Have fun there, and don't get too crazy at JR's!

I've moved on to Vegas till May, so I can certainly understand getting out of Chicago this time of year, and the end of May will be the perfect time to go back.
