LONG WEEK

This has been one long fucking week. Let's begin on Sunday. Watched the Bears game at my brother's place with him, his GF and their friends. Although the Bears have not given us Chicagoans much to boast about lately I always have a great time hanging out, especially with my older Bro.

Anyways, fast forward to later that night when I was told by Mr. X that things are not working out between us and that we should call it quits. Needless to say, I was not happy, and admittedly did not deal with it in the best way. But when a source of hope in your life turns into a source of sadness, it's never easy to deal with.

Monday morning I was rather depressed and since not one but both of the salespeople I support were out of the office, my workload effectively tripled. Under the best of circumstances I am not a Monday person, as these were anything but ideal circumstances. Needless to say, it was not an easy day.

As the week progressed things got better day by day, and tonight I feel good, if not a little exhausted, and yet also hopeful since I am going out tonight with a guy I met over the Summer. At this point I see this person as a friend, but you never know what might develop; at the least he seems like another cool gay guy that shares many of my interests.

Well, that was a quickie post, but I need to shower and get ready and such... it's FRIDAY NIGHT IN CHICAGO! WOOT!

Consider it Mr. X's loss. :-)

Take it slow with the new guy. If things don't look like they are panning out romantically, you still have him as a friend. Have a better week!

Sorry to hear about you and Mr. X.

My "Mr. X" and I had the same conversation this weekend. :(

So many men, so little time. Argh!
