Cubs 4, Diamondbacks 8Out of the 50 teams that have lost the first 2 games of the first round of the post-season, only 7 teams have gone on to to win the next 3. I think I am going to be sick.
Whew...deep breath. OK, it's going to be OK. Please God, let it be OK!
While watching the game last night I seem to have developed a slight case of tourette's syndrome. Every other word out of my mouth was "fuck", "shit" or "fucking shit" or my new preferred curse word "fucking fuck".
At least this weekend figures to be a great one, regardless of what happens with the Cubs.

I still hope the Cubs can pull it out for you.
I cannot watch any Chicago team that is a race such as this. I get so pissed off and so convinced its me that is causing them to lose, I just change the station or put on mute and surf the net.
I've been knon, though, to change Superstation WGN here to Angeles or Dodgers, if only because I could careless if the win or lose.
Angeles stuff is going on here, but yawn.
Glad I found your blog. I grew up watching the cubs and am watching them lose...again now. Sigh.
Unfortunately, we couldn't blame the downfall on the interruption of a fan trying to catch a fly ball. As they say, "Maybe next year." I truly was looking for something to materialize.
