THE LEGENDARY LEE ELIA TIRADE

Back in 1983 Wrigley Field didn't have lights that would have permitted night games, (one of a plethora of excuses cited by Die-Hards fans for the last 99 years of futility). Lee Elia, the manager of the Cubs at the time, held a post-game press conference where his level of frustration boiled over and resulted in a monologue so saturated with "F" bombs that it causes even this foul mouthed Cubs fan to shield his ears when listening to the recording.

Here's a lovely example of what he has to say about the the booing fans:

"Eighty-five percent of the fuckin' world is working. The other fifteen come out here. A fuckin' playground for the cocksuckers."
